It seems like lb isn't adding new releases to artist pages. There's some edits from the 26th still not appearing

I'll manually rebuild all the caches.

derat[m]
reosarevok: indeed. also, i don't think it counts as shamelessly reusing the code if you build on it, since my change is just based on your code from MBS-10858 :-P
oh, and i should be around for the meeting today, in case i'm not on the list already
reosarevok[m]
Do you want to be added today or as a regular again?
Re the numbers, I'm okay either way really. I guess we can merge as-is for now and see if these come up at all
mayhem[m]
<RustyNova[m]1> "Can confirm it fixed it. But can..." <- good, I was about to ask. let me know if it breaks again. in theory, its not supposed to. next time it does, open a ticket with an example please./
derat[m]
reosarevok: uh, probably just adding me for today is best. :-)
and would you mind merging the change, in that case? fwiw, i find that releases often tend to have multiple miscapitalized titles rather than just one, so i'm less worried about isolated false negatives slipping through. my main goal was making it more likely that beginners are at least aware that there is a style guide in the first place :-)
<reosarevok[m]> "bitmap: I was thinking of..." <- sure, I was working on fixing the latter PR yesterday, will try to push the changes in the next hour or so

Hey everyone! I'm Krishna. I've just submitted my first proposal for the ListenBrainz iOS app. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look and share your feedback whenever you get the chance. Thanks a lot!

<bitmap[m]> "yvanzo: hi, is there any way..." <- bitmap: hi, you can override the build/context through a local compose file.

<GautamShorewala[> "So,if a user is playing somethin..." <- If we are playing songs, we show listening now, also we keep note of that session. Once the app is killed from background, we abandon that session and would still show listening now from BE. It means, we should usually follow listening now only most of the time. You can mix up listen submission service to not bother with BE when song is being played on our device. But I think
let’s just keep it simple.
jasje[m]: Listening now always.
yvanzo[m]
bitmap: or you can build a custom image, and set `MUSICBRAINZ_SERVER_VERSION`/`MUSICBRAINZ_BUILD_SEQUENCE` to it.
So I'd just create local/docker-compose.yml and make my changes?
How long does it take these fixes to be merged into master?
yvanzo[m]
I will build the image for you.
nelgin
I'm already built.
yvanzo[m]
Ok.
nelgin
I'm running the eaa-dump branch.
just waiting for it to be merged then I can move back to master and put the .yml file back that I altered.

should? THen I might try it. :)

To clarify, I was initially suggesting to override the key services/musicbrainz/build/context only, not the whole content of the file.

Welcome to our MetaBrainz Monday Meeting!
We're on summer time in Europe again, so meetings will be at this time for the next 6 months or so!
Just in case, pinging people before mailed in reviews to give you a bit more time to think and react:
On my list for today: julian45, mayhem, Gautam Shorewala, lucifer, yvanzo, bitmap, kellnerd, zas, reosarevok, derat, jasje
But first!
I have 3 mailed in reviews:
yvanzo[m]
nelgin: yes
reosarevok[m]
ansh says:
"Last week I mostly spent time on Bootstrap Migration and Reviewing GSoC PRs. I was not well this week so couldn't work much."
Get better, ansh!
aerozol says:
"I'll try make it, unless daylight savings has already made the time brutally early again (5am...)."
(oops)
So:
"If that's the case: this week I was mainly away at a wedding! I also tried to progress a podcast guideline that has stuttered and puttered for a few years now - almost there I feel"
And monkey sent this, which he claimed is his TL;DR (I'd like to see the original!):
"""
Last week I worked on a bundling/typescript/ESM module issue we've had
with a couple of libraries (finally fixed!) and looked into updating
Typescript (major point version), and did some dependencies cleanup.
I spent a lot of time reviewing PRs and GSOC applications for LB and BB.
I worked on a small LB API fix, but since it's python it took me
forever. Happy to report no change required, though.
I also did a bunch of ticket triage on Jira and Sentry, as well as
That's me in a nutshell. Have a good evening everyone!
"""
Other than that, several people reported having nothing to report :)
So, to recap:
On my list for today: julian45, mayhem, Gautam Shorewala, lucifer, yvanzo, bitmap, kellnerd, zas, reosarevok, derat, jasje
julian45: wanna get us going?
julian45[m]
Sure!
Hello all!
This past week, I spent some time wrangling Atlassian support to confirm a viable upgrade path for Jira. Good news is, they approved the one I thought they would!
I'm planning to spend some time this week doing non-disruptive prep for the upgrade. I would like to take an outage window next week to do the upgrade since the safest upgrade possible will require stopping all activity on the old server before data export and cutover
Open to discussing specific times as needed.
That's all from me for now, go lucifer ?

last week, i reviewed various gsoc proposals, answered queries from gsoc contributors. did some work on similarity data, reworked the deadbeef listenbrainz plugin and submitted it upstream and approached navidrome team for adding oauth support to it.
