bitmap: i think the versioning is now automatically handled by setuptools-scm, i am testing that at the moment and if it works fine then it will automatically pick up the version from the git tags.

Not much to report from last week, we finally had a few perfectly tempered sunny days and I was AFK.
I've at least started refactoring Harmony's MBID mapping to require less API requests using the "new" MB API feature.

last week I had mostly spent time on updating/reviewing schema change PRs and beta update PRs
I figured out one reason MBS-13966 was still happening, so we did have to update the schema change release notes to mention that we're fixing another postgres function. it poses no compatibility issues though
now we're done merging all the schema change PRs, so I'll be focusing more on testing this week

last week I spoke with another belgian lawyer who said that we may be able to move without paying taxes -- we'll have to see.
I need to get more info from them.
but overall it was a short week with the blackout and then being out for a long weekend.
I also worked on the new MBID mappper; I wrote a letter to the mother of draunde on our board's suggestion -- I still need to mail that.
I've also started backing up the CAA, but as you might imagine, its takes a while to do that. and my script isn't great, because if it gets stuck it takes hours for it to pick up where it left off. heh. might need some improving.
