this is bug we should guard against. the error is triggered by a blank field in the metadata (a recording/album/artist name has a blank value). those items should be skipped.

Every night I run through my entire music collection, which will download the cover art for each one, compare it with what I have, and update it if required.
This seems to be generating a lot of false change notifications, and also taking a lot longer than usual. I haven't checked exactly what's going on, but rate limiting sounds like it's a possibility?
