Hey lucifer: just wanted to know why the browser is adding trailing slash during play button click even when my frontend code doesn't include them ??

I was just testing a track while checking the endpoint for the track I was getting 200 ok but when I am triggering the play button for that track which I have just submitted through.submit_listens.py it is adding an extra slash and searching resulting with no match found or 404 error !

the browser is returning the redirect from cache, which is a bit odd; you could try clearing the browser cache (or enabling the web inspector feature to disable cache) to verify whether it's a current issue with the server, or if the browser just has some bad stuff in its cache.
