MB team and ansh - one new thing that we might have to discuss is whether we can or want to update the menu as well, as shown in the mockup. It'll be quite a bit of extra work, but it would be an excellent companion. However, it won't be the end of the world if we just change the homepage

zas: I fixed some Discourse deprecation warnings in the plugins. The issues in https://github.com/metabrainz/discourse-abbrify-w… are resolved by merging the long standing PR for merging with changes from the upstream linkify. This included the refactor into a JS initializer file. Also it solves the word boundary issue better than the previous fix.

I'm getting a few "This site can’t be reached tickets.metabrainz.org took too long to respond." on MB as well as tickets (haven't used anything else this morn). Refreshing eventually sorts it but wanted to flag it (heavy/bot traffic?)

Gives me an idea for libretto, which is allowing adding links to bridged chat platforms (so the discord and IRC, etc) perhaps via some config in the server or in the matrix room
