fwiw it had to be only a matter of when with this upgrade since atlassian ended support for the release track we used to be on just a couple weeks ago (so by upgrading during summit we were simply getting ahead of the deadline), but we have some runway left on *this* release track, plus there are some bugfix releases since the one currently in production, so maybe moving to those will help. might also be room to refine on-server

config (in case, e.g., reverse proxy setup is causing some issues) as well. in any case, as long as the plugins we depend on are compatible with a given release, it’s a lot easier to update jira than it used to be

lucifer: I also had the metdata lookup endpoint return empty for now, which should stabilize LB, but no idea why typsense is still running high. but I suspect that can wait til the mornign
