We pushed the MB release one week because we didn't have a beta out, but now we do and it's a reasonably big one too

I worked on updating some PRs for that, and fixing a few small issues, those fixes are also on beta now

Nothing too huge - one possibly interesting thing is that beta now has edit note edit search

last week was the usual MeB nonsense, but I got at least one more PR submitted.

reviewed some PRs and generally plugged along. not an amazing week, really.

summer is getting hot, covid is freaking crazy from all the reckless parties that people are throwing.

(and that actually includes my friends -- I've been invited to several in the past weeks )

(and I attended none!)

and then I left town for a beach weekend friday after dealing with pile of vaccine documentation nonsense.

I did have one useful idea on how we might be able to provide recommendations outside of LB.

but that is for later.

last week I fixed a bug in LB public data imports and got that merged (lucifer: reminder, we need to deploy before the 15th if we haven't already)

I reviewed some model training work in AB that lucifer has been working on

in response to a small discussion on twitter, I added a feature to AB to allow people to download the model from the dataset training process

I spent some time working with Philipp on his picard app and exploring Picard a bit more, initially this week.

Since then I was preparing the documentation and working on some more new stuff for the mb android app with lucifer . Looking forward to finalizing things this week.

We were done with phase 1 of the GSoC project last week and I intend to wrap up my GSoC project in the upcoming week or two :)

Other than that I spent a good weekend with my friends to finally enjoy a bit before I enter

into my final year of college 😇

Last week I have worked on adding the lookup and browse series endpoints to the existing API

also wrote tests for series API

(Seems like neither ritiek nor CatQuest are around, so unless lucifer makes an appearance or someone else wants to give review, I think akashgp09 is the last for reviews today.)

Added Wikidata, VIAF and Goodreads identifiers for series

okno_ realized that there are problems we need to care of before implementing search in musicbrainz_rs, mainly about - best way to build search queries and how to deal with fields that aren't always returned in the api response, so okno_ and me began some discussion on this

otherwise i mainly worked on adding support for lots of missing relationship includes in musicbrainz_rs: https://github.com/oknozor/musicbrainz_rs/pull/60

this PR also made me realized that we've got some inconsistencies and have been missing a few crucial unit tests
