Hi all!

Last week I finally updated and merged MBS release instructions, it makes the release process more transparent to community members.

I also updated another MBS PR that might help with mitigating the I/O load issue we have in production.

On SIR, I fixed building Docker images and integrated more changes by ta264, currently being tested.

Spotted an issue with search indexes dump, zas identifed and fixed the issue that was with our NFS setup.

Helped with maintenance operations by moving RabbitMQ instance to another server, lucifer did the move back.

Plus MBS PR reviews and support, that’s all folks!

last week i discussed various gsoc related ideas and applications with mayhem, monkey and alastairp. this including deciding the direction of the MLHD related exploratory work, how to handle timezones in ListenBrainz. various new features like Release radar, send a track etc.

need an emoji for "running around like crazy doing lots of things"

i helped alastairp with some long standing CB PRs and also progressed on the ListenBrainz mini reviews feature. its been pending since last GSoC but i think we may be able to get it done this week.

Last week i continued work on the LB metadata viewer. React component is almost done, now it's time to connect it to the API !

I worked on fixing some regressions in BookBrainz with the latest version, and deployed that to beta

Investigated and made a plan for how to handle, format and store ISBNs, because it's complicated.

Reviewed PRs and GSoC applications, and did some issue triage

last week I was mostly doing MB code review and working more on schema change tickets

have everything submitted except the area_containment one which I hope to submit early this week. fixed a bunch of test failures in the others

worked on MBS-12297 which surfaced when I was fixing test failures

last week was moving the mb metadata cache to the bulk insert table and also picking up the similar artists work..

(Only zas, maybe atj?, and myself are left. Last call for anyone else who wish to give review!)

for similar artists, I just want to generate one batch over our whole dataset so I can replace the very old can decrepit artist similarity data we have now.

lots of gsoc thiking and planning as well as the normal background Meb BS tasks.

had a conversation with a possible uniforn with great strategic value, that that was nice too.

Hi! I'm currently works on the PR of the Integrate more music services. It said we can provide Deezer and AppleMusic, I have add the Apple Music as the component of the menu. But I found that there is no Deezer icron. It seems that because the we are using the Font Awesome 5, if we want to use Deezer we need to update to FontAwesome 6
