        mayhem: it picked up some speed overnight. 130 K albums done now, only explanation i have is that the discovery probably slowed down as more and more artists became already seen with time. charting this data in grafana may provide more insights.

        Does anyone else use LB to checkwhat their friends/followers have been listening to? If so, do you share my annoyance with clicking on a profile to not be taken to their listens tab, but to their reports tab?
      • 2022-09-15 25856, 2022

      • aerozol
        tl;dr can we change it to take us to the listens tab. I’m visiting their page to see the songs they’ve listened to last, and to check if they’re listening right now which gives a nice cross-globe feeling of connection

        Also default the Followers/Following widget to show the ‘Following’ list (which is a bit more meaningful anyway, since you don’t pick your followers/that’s pretty random)

        (the way to do it will mostly be the same except you have to specify a track in the function call for releases)

        you have to dispatch an action with type 'update-dialog-location', so something that would work on both pages is: MB.relationshipEditor.dispatch({type: 'update-dialog-location', location: {source: MB.relationshipEditor.state.entity}});

        I'm in the release rel editor and want to add rels to the release, e.g. "vocals" having an artist name (or sometimes even an artist MBID).

        on release pages that ^ will open a dialog to add a release-level relationship

        Thanks, that works, although I wouldn't have expected the action to be named 'update-dialog-location' :)

        it's kind of a weird internal naming convention since it also closes the dialog (by setting the location to null)

        And now when I want to fill the dialog I can use `MB.relationshipEditor.relationshipDialogDispatch`, right?

        right. I imagine filling out the form with JS and triggering change events manually would also work, but you can control everything in the dialog with that dispatch function

        Haha, it's probably a good thing that I'm blocking requests to sentry, I've already crashed the dialog a few times
