I was also thinking about having collapsible sections in there, in particular 'beta'. So you can hide the whole thing (aligning more with the MB mockup which has those everywhere)

By overwhelming, I mean if we had say 35 items on that explore page, would be hard to find anything

But collapsible sections make that problem go away, most likely
