I would almost recommend *everyone* using the last.fm importer + any other kind of submitter has a backup account at this stage… see last comment here: LB-1040
Would be really rough to lose your history. Basically, I think LB is still too sandbox-ey to worry about multiple accounts - unless they are doing something dodgy of course

My main worry is that the player's search results are not reliable, for example the youtube search is sometimes quite dubious and could play an entirely different song or random video
I think a good addition would be to be able to paste in a musicbrainz recording link or an MBID as well as searching by name. Could be pretty complex though, mixing APIs. Not sure how to tackle it.
