Going to get a hot drink first haha. Hope everyone had a great weekend! We have a public holiday tomorrow (Anzac Day) but I’m gonna be working. Nice long weekend vibes across the country though, always nice when everyone leaves the city

santiagofn: Making elements, including font size, bigger is definitely on the cards. One of the reasons I have wrapped it into the redesign is because I imagined it causing issues if we just plug it into the current layout - but if bitmap/yvanzo want to let you try it out on test (or you can do it on a different instance) or something then why not! Like reosarevok, I use MB zoomed inon my browser - 125% here.

santiagofn: tbh changing everything to 14px actually works okay, just testing now… I would say the biggest job will be to check the many many pages and make sure nothing is breaking or going into 2 lines in a breaking/ugly/annoying way. 16px is creating more issues imo.

santiagofn: I’ve made a ticket for the font size here: MBS-13042
santiagofn: You can link general redesign issues to MBS-12676, because the ListenBrainz redesign has been moving along I haven’t linked everything together yet.
santiagofn: I have never looked at redesigning the wiki (too much to do), but that would be great too. It needs some love. Is this something you know how to do and are keen to tackle? There may be other low hanging fruit re. wiki updates, like: https://community.metabrainz.org/t/mb-wiki-skin-m…

reosarevok: re: “https://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Release?diff=76274&oldid=76071 - the descriptions there are literally copies of the official description for the status :)” - If I follow what you mean, can I propose changing the official status description? This all comes from https://community.metabrainz.org/t/withdrawn-guid…, it’s confusing if guidelines get better but other stuff stays static]

santiagofn: that Redesign roadmap ticket I linked is the ‘current’ one, but it is in no way final. It was going through lots of community feedback stages, and still has to go through more. And then once it’s been more or less worked out I will try and mock up all the other MB pages… but if you can split out elements that can be implemented on the current site, let me know, and I’ll do what I can to help. Re: MBS-13042 - if yvanzo and bitmap are ok with it, I'd be happy to make that change and put it on beta to let people figure out what if anything it makes worse
I was setting up mb-docker on my mac recently and I am facing the issue "unable to get absolute bin path: getwd: invalid argument" while trying to build the docker image or running it.

I would be happy to make it clearer if possible.

#246 depends on #245 because the added files would be deleted each time otherwise.

2023-04-24 11424, 2023
yvanzo
Anyway, I cannot do that because the branch for #245 is under my own repository.
2023-04-24 11425, 2023
atj
yvanzo: not sure, I probably would have just branched off master for both, but then it was reasonable to assume #245 would be merged as-is so you could just rebase #246

yes, `sudo` is in the documentation to make it work for most platforms, but it isn't required if your user is part of `docker` group (for example).

akshaaatt

perhaps we should be more explicit about that in the docs

Having your personal account with `docker` group is bad too, if not worse.
