Open in another process? That's common in Windows where the file is not released after it has been accessed (played) recently.

Lol, I was also fighting with Ogg files yesterday because ffmpeg shows their metadata/tags as if they were attached to the audio stream while for all other formats which I had tested (FLAC, MP3, MP4, MKV etc.) they are attached to the container.

@outsidecontext @kellnerd well, they're opus so one can presume they didn't start life as opus, they were converted from something else lossy that was probably not mp3 (for idiosyncratic reasons).
2024-03-03 06359, 2024
iconoclast_hero
I don't know how you can tell where the tags are attached, but the conversion was done by ffmpeg and I find it unlikely that none of the 400 opus files had gone through picard at least once since they were converted.
2024-03-03 06306, 2024
iconoclast_hero
i.e., i can't prove the order but it doesn't seem reasonable that 100% of them would have been tagged prior to conversion (in fact my habit would be the opposite, convert first, finish tagging/naming/filing second).

aabbi15: MB doesn't use a particular React framework for translations. we just use a combination of po2json + Jed + our own custom parser
2024-03-03 06317, 2024
bitmap
but our use of Jed probably predates React's existence, so perhaps not what you would do in a modern project ;)
