this is the type of project where we don't know the correct outcome of the project yet -- which is ok.

but, if we work closely together and keep adjusting our goals and expectations as we go, I see no problem for this project over the summer.

but if your proposal basically says: 1. identify algs (ideally tested to some degree firest) 2. discuss and evaluate which algs to include. 3. Creating a test dataset 4. Training algs (if applicable) 5. Setting up a system to churn a pile of music through this multi alg setup.

so, this is less of a ML project and more of a "what can we do to make this BPM process a bit less shit".

Should the "disabled" column actually contain a "disabled status" (perhaps an integer)? That way you could differentiate between things like "locked out administratively", "requested removal", etc.

And I have finally published elbisaur v0.7

It now comes with a parser for Spotify extended history and more documentation.

Last week I reviewed some MB Server PRs and tested mirror for release (mostly carried on by reosarevok otherwise).

With atj and zas, we nvestigated SolrCloud issues and potential improvements for future deployment.

Otherwise I worked on building a base Docker image with Perl 5.38.2 for MB Server.

Then upgraded Ubuntu to Jammy on our wiki server. (The next step is to upgrade MediaWiki to 1.39.)

Also have had much more discussions around development ideas proposed for GSoC, not sure why… 😉
