atj: not sure if you got the mail: the cloud node for mb-solr-new-6 has been faulty around 5:10 pm UTC.

FWIW, I just noticed that the topic is different in IRC than it is in Matrix. I recall that being an issue in the past, but I thought it had been addressed. Perhaps I'm misremembering.

No, it hasn’t been addressed, it has to be fixed in the bridge IIRC.
the issue is quite old though so its possible the behaviour was again changed later, but that was as far as i could dig in last time i looked into it.

yvanzo: thanks, zas told me about it. very random but it's back now.

bitmap, reosarevok: Should `carton` command be provided in INSTALL.md for mirrors? (along with the current `cpanm` for development?)
atj: A good test to see how other nodes behave if that node was leading anything :)
atj
I only just added it to the cluster actually
I had run the first 6 node load test and the results were terrible
just as I was about to start drinking, zas messaged me about the node going down
bitmap
yvanzo: it can't hurt to list it as an option - it's how we install things in prod after all
I'm not sure I'd recommend it for the average setup though, since it requires running everything with `carton exec` (probably affecting most of the commands we've documented)
yvanzo
I can see that, and we hopefully have only one documented command to be changed in our Docker Compose project.
bitmap
ok then :)
yvanzo
That’s because the other documented commands are wrappers.

That would indeed require more changes in the INSTALL.md.

That being the case, can I suggest that at the start of each weekly meeting the agenda be posted in a message? Similar to the list of people who will be providing reviews, except only once (just after the <BANG>).
That way we will know what's planned and can request new items be added if appropriate.
yvanzo
rdswift[m]: That would be better than nothing.
rdswift[m]
I'm assuming that would also be appreciated by those following along on other platforms (e.g. Discord).
yvanzo
Ideally the agenda items should even be added the previous week when other people may want to look into these beforehand, but that’s not a technical isssue.
reosarevok: I can join the group contact on IRC if you’re still seeking after volunteers.
rdswift[m]
Agreed, because often they are added and then any real discussion or decisions are deferred to the next week.
Although "information only" items are not necessary to add to the agenda the previous meeting.
Often it's more timely to just bring them up the same meeting.
reosarevok
yvanzo: sure, I still need to mail them - yvanzo, aerozol, reosarevok and keep Freso seems like a good start
Let's see if they agree :)
Will mail tonight

Now I’m distracted figuring out if the only edgy band in there is actually from the Vatican (looks like they’re from Russia) - relink of the playlist: https://listenbrainz.org/playlist/ed35abcc-27b2...
Oh wait, all their comments are in Italian so maybe not… /me digs deeper into hole
They may indeed be based in Vatican City! …back to work
