lucifer[m]
hi all!
2025-05-05 12521, 2025
lucifer[m]
last week i worked on debugging spark stats because of lots of alerts in our monitoring systems and it turned out it was just mayhem not listening to music for a few days.
2025-05-05 12538, 2025
mayhem[m]
so sorry, I was at a festival.
2025-05-05 12553, 2025
lucifer[m]
other than made some progress on openid support in meb oauth provider.
2025-05-05 12553, 2025
mayhem[m]
(so I was listening to music)
2025-05-05 12507, 2025

and reviewed a couple of LB PRs.

reosarevok[m]
So that concludes our reviews
2025-05-05 12532, 2025
monkey[m]
I told mayhem I would re mind you reosarevok about reminding him top remind me to start designing the t-shirt for the summit
2025-05-05 12548, 2025
reosarevok[m]
The only point in the agenda is that I should remind mayhem to remind monkey that he needs to work on the summit shirts
2025-05-05 12550, 2025
mayhem[m] fears there are not enough reminders
2025-05-05 12553, 2025

Ok, everyone, remember to ping monkey about the shirts every day from now on until he confirms they are done
bitmap (and yvanzo when you are around), i think we should move to a github action for building the package and deploying to pypi, like we do for other python library projects.

bitmap[m]
yes, makes sense. thanks for getting the existing script working though, I'm looking at it now
2025-05-05 12500, 2025
lucifer[m]
the current script will fail unless you have the signing key available locally (i don't), so you would need to comment out the -u args to git tag and you also probably want to comment out the two git push when testing it.
2025-05-05 12550, 2025
bitmap[m]
yup, already doing that
2025-05-05 12531, 2025
bitmap[m]
lucifer: the tag it's generating for me is invalid, "v-2.v-2020-11-12. 0", maybe I'm doing something wrong though
lmao I can join the ranks of "complaining about selenium tests failing" :D

bitmap: i tested again and it creates the tags correctly for me.

lucifer[m]
is it possible your mmd-schema submodule is on a different commit or something?
2025-05-05 12516, 2025
lucifer[m]
hmm, maybe that's not relevant i tested changing it to master or a different commit and it still generates a valid tag (although a very gnarly one in the second case)

lucifer: sorry it's a macos issue, it works if I replace sed with gsed

ah okay

btw, is sir python3 also supposed to be released with the schema change?
2025-05-05 12559, 2025

lucifer: yes, it should be
2025-05-05 12543, 2025

cool sounds good, let me know if you need any help with that.

there are two pending PRs for artist credit and medium MBIDs I think we'll merge first, let's see when yvanzo is back on the 7th
2025-05-05 12527, 2025
lucifer[m]
cool
2025-05-05 12528, 2025
lucifer[m]
also, i think you need to update the production branch on mmd-schema repo as it is quite behind the latest master and hence the models generated in mbrngpy are also outdated.

oh here is something I've always wondered: why in the fresh hells does jira have both a "has related issue" and"is related to"
2025-05-05 12502, 2025
LupinIII
and the one is the opposite of the other so you can make clean links of groups of things because they all do this thing where they group weirdly.
2025-05-05 12507, 2025
LupinIII
for "depends on" / "has dependency" this sort of thing makes sense but honestly grmmatically I don't see any diff on "has related" / "is related to"
