Thanks for the updates all! I was a little bit sick and didn't really do any work (apart from editing and a new userscript that I'm very pleased with) so no update from me anyway

perhaps an alternative like [healthchecks.io](https://healthchecks.io/) might be worthwhile?

julian45: you're spot on. I applied with them an they approved us just before the summit. I plan to move there, but at the same time I am fretting about the load on gaga and by extension the mapper.

legitimately the only real downside i could see with healthchecks.io would be a lack of integratable SSO with our own identity provider, which sentry can do, but (a) that's of course not a dealbreaker for me (b) as long as users safely manage their passwords for this service, and the service itself handles user secrets properly, we're reasonably safe

      • julian45[m]
speaking of IAM, although of course the data users contribute to MeB projects is not exactly sensitive per se, i wonder how difficult it might be to add passkey auth and/or safe forms of MFA (e.g., TOTP [those time-based rotating 6-digit codes], FIDO credentials like yubikeys/biometrics)

Passkeys are a bit more difficult client side, but in both cases it's generating, storing and verifying an additional secret

      • Jade[m]
TOTP you also have to prevent replay attacks, but you can do that in memory because codes are only valid for 90s with a rollover window of 1

What's up with Weblate? It just added 60 new languages to the Picard Docs repository with no translations entered for any of them! Until now, it didn't add a new language until someone requested it and started the translation.

What's worse, it only included part of the catalogue of PO files for each of the languages it added. What a mess!

Don't know, I didn't change anything. But sounds a bit like the "add missing languages" add-on, which makes sure the same languages are present in all components. But I think that was active for picard-docs for a long time. Also the last language added according to the logs was Catalan 5 months ago. That's odd. https://translations.metabrainz.org/changes/brows…

<outsidecontext[m> "Don't know, I didn't change..." <- Whatever it was it looks like it was initiated on Weblate about three weeks ago (about the time I think I was asking about users not being able to download/upload `*.po` files for processing locally using Poedit). I wonder if anyone was messing with the settings or updated something around that. I'm reluctant to start cleaning it up unless we understand what caused it because I
