reosarevok: oh re. videos, I know some of these already exist, and in some cases more detailed ones with a script etc. But I want to have a ‘full set’ of short casual ones (and a bit more SEO doesn’t heart to be honest…)

lucifer: I can already tell that linking my missing LB listens is going to be hell with my OCD… but kinda a fun hell that I definitely want to do!!
One question, before I go through, a lot of the missing ones are albums I listened to on Bandcamp while adding them. Does the automatic matching ever get run again, or is it that once it’s on the ‘missing data’ page it will never be linked except for manually?
Before I go through and match a bunch of stuff unnecessarily
aerozol: rechecked once a month if you relisten to the tracks. i can write a script to recheck all your missing LB listens if you'd like. might come in handy for other users too i guess.

lucifer: gotcha. Would definitely be useful - if you’ve got nothing more important to do ;)

aerozol: you should have access to both the google doc and /admin in LB
Also hi, let's talk stuff if you're up for it still :)
Re: videos, great, just wanted to make sure you knew of the existing ones :)

bitmap: MBS-12861 has a point that it'd be easier to debug that if it indicated something about the relationships in question :) I didn't think we'd see this error, but
Meeting minutes is probably the most straightforward? I can just start doing them and copy Freso’s format (maybe less of their special fun stuff), and we can see how it goes
reosarevok
If you want, that works for me. Easier for you to do anyway since the meeting is in the morning for you
It clearly needs improvements (for example, reported users are not linked to their user pages)
In fact, no users are, under Users either
aerozol
Did you see my note? I’m not sure if it’s clear that people shouldn’t have multiple accounts
reosarevok
Well, our general MeB CoC says no gaming our services
aerozol
People sending spam or being abusive is more obvious so that’s easy
I’m thinking more if someone makes two accounts to test something out, is that ‘gaming’?
reosarevok
Clearly, listening to the same stuff in multiple accounts (exact matches) and listening to the same tracks on repeat 24/7 in a clearly unnatural way is gaming the service
aerozol
In that case, yes, but a lot of the reports aren’t that by the looks of it
reosarevok
If someone just has two accounts, and they test stuff with one, then use the other, then whatevs
(IMO)
aerozol
I’m not sure what it’s gaming atm since we don’t have album/track stats, but I guess they’re planning ahead :P
OK great
reosarevok
We still need to decide what happens in those cases where we detect gaming (maybe mayhem already knows, but I don't :) )
But yeah. I don't think there's a lot of reports in here now, so should be easy to keep on top of it for now
aerozol
I assume email, wait a day or two, and then remove?
In CB I don’t bother messaging when I hide a review tbh, would take ages. And I’m not deleting accounts
reosarevok
In MB we haven't usually contacted people who are obviously spamming
We just block them
aerozol
OK cool. So just in fringe cases where it’s not clear what they’re up to?
reosarevok
But we contact people who are doing something else wrong (being rude, ignoring edit notes, whatnot)
aerozol
Excellent
reosarevok
I guess in LB we could do the same - if something seems off but we're not sure it's malicious, write and be like "hey maybe don't?"
aerozol
I might do it some more going forwards (I have done it sometimes, but usually it’s pretty obvious what they’re up to)
Usually I’m hiding reviews from accounts with just 1 self review so I can’t say I lose sleep over whether they even noticed or not
reosarevok
Yeah
I'd probably write if it was stuff like "it seems this person might be getting paid to review stuff 5 stars" or "this person is leaving reviews that seem like they are irrelevant to the stuff being reviewed" or something
aerozol
Yeah I’ve done the occasional email
Do you want me to check the MB reports email with you, or just be here for discussion if you see something that’s not clear?
reosarevok
For clear vandalism we usually don't send email in MB either
So if someone left a lot of reviews like "piss shit fuck ass", probably no need to mail
Now, if someone left a review with a gif of a monkey drinking its own urine, that's review art #pitchfork
aerozol
That’s a pretty clear moderation case
upvote and move on
I have to go - feel free to let me know re the MB reports in the doc, or here!
reosarevok
Ok! I was mostly thinking about talking about them, but you having access to reports would be useful anyway
So you can block someone acting up on your timezone while others sleep
But good night!
aerozol
night night! feel free to PM me with access deets and I can have a poke about and see what tends to get sent in and what’s done and so on
reosarevok
mayhem: ^ can you add aerozol to the MB reports list? (aerozol: it's just an email account, so no nice reports panel like in LB)
(maybe something to consider adding)

Thanks reosarevok!
(Lucy got home but still has work to do so I’m still up after all :)
We might want to do something similar in MB to this reports page, it seems like it'd be fairly useful. Ideally I guess it would have a way to comment, archive and search the reports too
Well, I guess it'd make sense to implement it for MeB once we have the users there instead? And have all reports end up there
From different sites
But dunno :)
yvanzo
That’s totally the purpose of spam report architecture designed around SpamBrainz (for MB/CB/...) and it can apply not just to spam.

bitmap: I took MBS-12859 (see PR), but I'm at a loss with MBS-12860 / MBS-12861. When you're around, please take a look - it might be some issue with state?
what happened: I upgraded systems, docker was in the set, and it failed on community to restart nginx-proxy, outputting the error you can see in the commit message, I installed apparmor package, error is gone
