I have been reviewing PRs as usual and managing Beta releases for our apps

It’s good to see that the iOS beta has around 85 users, great to see!

The android app is still figuring things out with YIM and Listens Submission. Great work from jasje and pranav!

We should get the app tested today and tomorrow once the Beta is available.

I think we have the yim rerun happening soon, so we should plan to ship the app stuff alongside

Last week, I worked a bit on lb content resolver

Also on Picard, and Picard-plugins

I deployed last version of picard-website (sec fix)

I upgraded grafana but I had to roll back because current version has a bug impacting us, expecting a fix in next minor release

plus usual supervision, system upgrades, minor fixes, and user support.

Also, I had to restart solr on 2 instances, because they were using a lot of disk I/O (it happened in the past).

Ooh. Keen to hear about Picard-plugin updates, any time! Maybe worth a little share/tweet as well

BTW, upgrading this solr cloud is more and more needed, as the traffic keep increasing

I conveyed some information about docs from memory but I wasn’t sure I remembered it all.

Hi all!

Last week I was building a fully-fledged command-line tool on top of my LB client library.

It reads listens from JSON/JSONL files and the LB API, manipulates them and submits or deletes them via the API.

If you have Deno installed, you can safely try it out with `deno run https://deno.land/x/listenbrainz@v0.6.1/cli/elb... (it is sandboxed and asks for all permissions).

Apart from using elbisaur to correct my mismapped listens and submit listens from my portable player, I also did a few more minor LB PRs which came across my way.

And I was reading some travel guides about Delhi and the surrounding area :)

so last week was pretty fun

fixed some core issues related to scrobbling

in the new beta, you can disable if the app should automatically scrobble from any new player detected.

lots of ppl complained about it and experienced it myself so worth it

mayhem I am about to leave, however I'd suggest to do a pre-release to test the pipeline and to claim the name on pypi

apart from that

did some work on LB server

I found the IRC bridge very annoying to be honest

i just found it discombobulating, having to parse nicks from a bots messages
