Last week I looked into some spammers, and into MBS-13275 to stop spammers from following whether their spam gets removed

Also a bunch of user page improvements (like not allowing nominating an unverified beginner for autoeditor)

And I started looking into both MBS-13132 and MBS-6741 which seem useful

I've successfully held my research project presentation last Thursday before I returned to my GSoC project.

By improving the ORM types, I found yet another small issue: There is a property naming conflict between the (undeployed) 2018 importer project and the 2021 series project (where `entityType` is the type of the series items and not "Series").

That's why unambiguous property names should be used!

The rest of my time I was busy with summit preparations: Buying chocolate, selecting a small gift for aerozol, buying more chocolate :)

a mistake

last week I mostly did code review for MBS and worked on getting the standy server on jimmy up to production use. updated configuration to ensure compatibility with existing consul-template files

hopefully today I'll head to one of the fancy grocers and clean out their chocolate aisle

as you might imagine, there was a lot of summit prep for me.

but I also worked on making LB radio tag queries more scalable.

then the usual background stuff and... onboarding Spotify for the 3rd time. yay, have a unicorn!

this week will be an odd one, not expecting a lot of real work to get done.

I will be taking wednesday off, to recharge before the insanity. I need to work all day sunday to do our quarterly finances.

because without when I won't be able to get a start of metabrainz address at the beginning of the summit.

I have been buried inside docs and research these days. Learning new stuff everyday. Other than that, I cleansed our repos and did some code reviews

We have also made a decision to move android components to the design system soon ( after nov )

Last week I finished the setup of new server hendrix (preliminary stuff was started by atj, mainly zfs)

it is now up and running, and looks ok, it will be one of the main database server soon

apart that, I was preparing Picard 2.10rc1 release, we planned to release it tomorrow

plus usual user support, supervision, upgrades, minor fixes. fin. atj ?

I would like someone to take the lead on summarizing the current state of the music industry in a little depth so that everyone is aware how things are. I for one would really benefit from it because it would help us focus on the right things. Idk if it makes sense but surely like an off topic apart from general meb stuff should be there. Any thoughts?

That would help ensure we get new stuff in our belt every year
