Hi guys. I'm trying to do the DBDefs.pm set up. so all I need to set is MB_SERVER_ROOT="/home/musicbrainz/musicbrainz-server", REPLICATION_TYPE=RT_SLAVE, DB_STAGING_SERVER=0, WEB_SERVER="0.0.0.0:5000"? Are they the only things Ineed to edit?

and the databases

is that value for WEB_SERVER going to enable access from any LAN system?

nashant: "0.0.0.0:5000" doesn't make sense for WEB_SERVER, you should leave that default or use the correct public address.

warp: well the default is "www.musicbrainz.example.com"

nashant: it is mostly used to construct links on the website and in e-mails sent by the server. it doesn't configure how you can connect to the server.

nashant: hm, the default in lib/DBDefs/Default.pm is "localhost:5000"

oh it it is DBDefs.pm.sample. that file probably needs some cleaning up.
