warp: did you change how the ajaxy uploader handles the slowdown error?

I don't think there is code specifically for dealing with that. IIRC the last time I looked at that the slowdown error didn't have CORS headers, so I couldn't read it. That should hopefully be fixed now.

ianmcorvidae: just fyi, rika is giving me near-constant 504s right now (not urgent or anything though, 'cause I'm going to bed)

it's been sluggish for the past couple days, so something must be up

nikki: meh, the coverart_redirect stuff doesn't want to run on rika.

I actually use an electric kettle and then transfer the boiling water to the hario

I started by putting it on the stove but that is dog slow

I have gas hobs so it wouldn't be too bad

aleta plugged the 110v grinder into a 220v outlet not grokking what the plug converter did.

so, now we have a nice WMF coffee grinder that is fast.

so our coffee setup is swank and well dialed.

we even know where to source good local beans

I started wearing them just before I left to ecuador because the shoes I'd use when training had worn out

which then lead to me using them in ecuador all the time, now I love them.

my first pair is still going strong. they've lasted longer than most other shoes I've had in years.

and now I enjoy walking, which is a completely new experience. I always hated it and would take a bicycle for anything which was further away than 30 seconds.

which isn't cloth, but plastic

so they stay cleaner.

these indeed look a bit weird, and I need to pull the elastic cord thing back quite a bit to make them comfortable... which then makes them not be comfortable for long periods of time.
