well, seems like we're ending out round, so I'll go.

I spent a lot of time catching up on email and talking to prospective customers.

I can't tell if all this activity is a backlog of people wanting to talk to us and it being make clear or if this is the level of attention that I need to pay this process going forward.

currently it is half of my time, which is redonkulous.

but, SF company OpenAura joins the ranks of people supporting us now.

hopefully neckt week I can find more time to pursue bigger fish with deeper pockets.

ruaok: Well, if it's the level of attention we can expect going forward, we should be able to find means to pay someone to deal with it?

Freso: hopefully yes. especially if this position pays for itself, which it might.

Is it right that AB is on the supporters page? Isn't it covered already because it's a MeB project?

too hard to tell, but I'd rather manage the teams than continually talk to customers.

then, of course I spent a bunch of time writing blog posts and pondering how to move forward with things.

Well dunno about AB but MB definitely is a MeB supporter, given it is where the income comes from :D

I'm applying for a dev course in vocational education. I'm not sure how much new stuff I'd learn (apart from Estonian) but in any case if they do take me it should make me feel more confident with code, which would be neat :)

I want to go over the development priorities since they are quite different from the recent past.

Ian mentioned that it might not make sense to handle FreeDB with Solr

So, #1 and #2 are not going to change much over time.

bitmap: modbot seems to have been complaining about the same edit for weeks.

I can tell passage of time by how many times modbot complains.

To a degree, but sometimes it's a very minor thing that breaks modbot for one edit and doesn't really affect the average user

#3: Community improvement features: So, a lot of the important community improvement things have been talked about, but never implemented.

so, the plan is to finish off features from the may 17 schema change and then not start new projects unless they ficks issues related to our community.

the leads us to #4, which is to do correct bugs on current features.

clearly we need to continue doing that.

then somewhere in the middle of all that, I would like to put the new logo/branding into the site. without going all bootstrap. that is too much work for now.

#6 is to create new features, which may not happen until autumn.

finally is #7, which is schema change release.

of which we won't have another one this year.

we keep chasing schema change releases with only a 2 months off between them. if that. so, the follwing schema change release will be may 15ish 2016.

sorry if someone has been pining for a new feature to include in the fall, but we need a collective breather to focus on some of the community issues.
