does wolfram alpha use musicbrainz data?

they are properly crediting us, but I think there ought to be some support

presumably they're just using the CC0 data dumps

they also don't have *all* of the data included

that doesn't change the fact that they ought to open their wallets and support us.

very limited coverage, in fact. It's almost as if they're manually importing data by having people read the musicbrainz site...

http://products.wolframalpha.com/partnerships/ seems to be the place to start if you want to get your data into musicbrainz, but no idea where you'd go if your data is already there :)

I'm trying to compile the new search stuff, but its failing on tests.

I updated mmd-schema and did mvn clean ; mvn package ; mvn install

then in search server I did the same and the tests are failing.

did you do mvm install on mmd-schema ?

also, I just got done installing a tiny 5 port gig switch.

and its only for search index traffic.

so, we should be able to push search indexes much faster now.

murdos has written the updater code, warp deals with deploying it

I don't actuyally know anything about the updater

Actually I would like mmd-schema to be moved to git, I asked ocharles about this some time ago

Thats the only part of search that coredevs contribute to would allow me to see how git/bitbucket works with my workflow

I set up a mirror server for my Headphones to check, but it still gives me a blacklisted error on api requests. Can I fix that in the server somewhere?

S1RC: that probably just means that you haven't reconfigured your headphones to point at the mirror server; it's still trying to access our main server.

S1RC: or that you haven't installed the search server locally.

if you haven't searches are still being carried out by our servers, which are rate limited.

It's definitely on custom, pointed at the ip:port of the VM.

does headphones use search queries?
