in the meantime I'm running off to the supermarket to purchase some lunch.

Oh
Is it now?
reosarevok isn't used to this time change stuff
ruaok
almost now.
time change?
was there a time change in .ee?
reosarevok is in Brussels for exams
ocharles checks in
ah.
warp
:)
ruaok
ocharles: so, about the timesheet, Mr. Herbal Tea?
ocharles
ruaok: I might be able to get it to you tonight, but i'm pretty wiped
ruaok
I bet warp is happy to wait on you some more. :)
ocharles
susie is round atm so I was hoping to see her rather than prepare timesheets :) would tomorrow be ok?
ruaok
<BANG>

ianmcorvidae is luckier that way. easy to pay him. :)

warp
I can go first.

At the start of the week I was still working on a few things which were broken by the schema change release. Release editor stuff.
When I got all that on code review I fixed a bunch of small webservice tickets
and on friday and today I've been looking at adding .png/.gif support to the cover art uploading, and ...
in particular looking at the ajax cover art uploader, and how I can make that code more testable.
ocharles
do note we still have pressing things in the current fix version that haven't been adressed yet
warp
(which probably involves knockout.js in some fashion, so I've been playing with that a bit)
ruaok nods
ruaok
(at ocharles)
warp
ocharles: ah, then it's good we have this meeting so I can be aware of those things which have higher priority :)
that's it.
ruaok
ocharles: how about you?
ocharles
not much from me
ruaok
even for a non-7d week?
ocharles
I spent the first few days hacking away on more of the tickets that occured after the schema change also
Nothing particularly focused - just picking up MBS tickets from the fix version
then I was away Thursday-today at a festival
nothing particularly interesting to expand on though, so fin!
ruaok
ok.
ianmcorvidae?
ianmcorvidae
sure
mostly a recovery week for me too, to be honest
ocharles
(oh, as an aside - on the note of being a bit vacant recently that should all be done now. may is always full of bank holidays here, but I should be around more from now on)
ruaok
heh, sounds like we're all in the same boat.
ianmcorvidae
did a few things, including some fixes of things in review, some deployments, etc.
etc.
my one big-ish project was looking into using a CSS preprocessor
which is coming along nicely :)
chatted with rob... saturday, I think?
ruaok
yeah, sounds about right.
ianmcorvidae
and sometime this week we'll boot up lolo and I'll move it to 12.04 as a first test server for that move
warp
great
ocharles
what is "that move"?
ianmcorvidae
ocharles: to 12.04
ruaok
upgrade dist
ocharles
ah, ok
ianmcorvidae
(happens to be "required" for the CSS preprocessor stuff, inasmuch as I don't want to compile this stuff separately, but we've been meaning to do it forever anyway, so :P)
ruaok
well, we have to take our motivation whereever we find it, right?
ianmcorvidae
I think that about covers it for me, anyway
ruaok
ok.
well, I was traveling last week.
holiday monday.
SFMT on tuesday.
which was good, but not as stellar as some of the other ones.
some conversations got moved along and framed very nicely.
I have a better understanding of GRD, GRiD and the landscape that is forming in the music industry.
I've also touched base with brewster and crashed at his house for a while.
sometime later this week I will do some matching stuff for them to keep brewster happy.
but, I've finally convinced him that an all-or-nothing acoustid process is flawed.
so, now they are finally ready to accept some wcd-MBID matches.
so, thats some progress on that front.
and as far as traveling is concerned, there will be more, but less invasive EU travel.
I have no trips ouside the EU planned until October.
which means that I'm around to finally do some planning and get things back on track.
ocharles: you're 7d this week, right?
ocharles
yep
ruaok
then lets work on a new VM come monday.
ocharles
sounds good!
ruaok
shouldn't take very long to get that out. so mid-week next week for a new VM, if anynmore asks.
*anyone
so, before we go on to agenda items, I've heard some gripes about critical issues not getting fixed.
nikki spoke of one issue that is fixed, but not deployed -- relating to areas.
ianmcorvidae & warp: can you two please take care of this asap?
what other critical issues are pending that need attention?
how many more bugs in the current fix version?
ianmcorvidae
yes, I can deploy it; I had been waiting for a review from ocharles, but he was at the aforementioned festival :/
warp
yes, I'm available for a few hours after the meeting to deploy that.
ocharles approves that
ruaok
so is the review done then?
or did it just get done?
ianmcorvidae
yes, it's done now
ocharles
I just gave that pull request an approval
ruaok
ok, great.
what other critical issues remain?
LordSputnik
MBS-6416 is also important and waiting for review :)
