stats, cdstubs and cover-art-archive are not edits, but they're not replicated and they're pretty much self-contained so you don't *need* them (you might want them, and they're small enough that you might as well import them)
bretzlaff
ok, I'll try those 6, all but edit, and see what happens

nikki: I +1 the ticket because it is closed(premature?)/unvotable :)
jesus2099 has left the channel
nikki
there's not much point to that then. if it's closed, we're not planning to do anything about it, so either it was a wontfix and +1ing it is just spam, or it's still valid and should be reopened

navap wonders why beta and production is affected by MBS-5409 but rika, test, and a local mirror are not
The year looks the same to me, must be because of version differences in the modules
ruaok
woot!
the internet archive is sponsoring us for $500.
warp
yay!
ruaok
ianmcorvidae: if we subsidize your ticket by $500, can you make the rest happen?
warp
for barcelona?
ruaok
yeah
I'm hoping to sponsor 3 people at $500. not sure if we can make that.
CallerNo6
have a ticket auction? highest bidder gets the ticket of his/her choice moved to the six month bin?
nikki
haha
ruaok
hmm.
nikki
everyone would pick schema changes I bet though
ruaok
that might be hard to do and raise a usable amount of money. :(
nikki
isn't all money usable?
CallerNo6
well, if everybody votes with their wallets, most voted for feature gets bumped?
ruaok
nikki: sure it is.
but $100 doesn't really help get people to the summit. :(
CallerNo6
not "auction" then. More like a raffle.
reosarevok
ruaok: it helps get Europeans to the summit
Dunno if we need more of those pesky Europeans though :p
nikki
yeah, dunno why you're coming :P
reosarevok
(and admittedly most can probably afford $100)
ruaok
well, if someone wants to organize such a raffle/auction, I'd be happy to spend more money on the summit.
navap
reosarevok: Do you have a connection in frankfurt where you get on lufthansa?
reosarevok
navap: It's all lufthansa, both ways have a 1h connection somewhere in Germany though
navap
I noticed you're arriving at 1755. One of the flights I can take has me arriving at the same time via frankfurt
reosarevok
Oh, I see
Yeah, it's Frankfurt
nikki
btw, you didn't answer me yesterday when I was wondering if we should put where people are flying from, since so many people are arriving around the same time
navap
Though It's cheaper for me to get a flight that lands in BCN bright and early at 930, making the the first guy there other than alastairp
ruaok
I can see the FRA->BCN plane turning into MB party plane.
except you guys dont really party. :)
navap
hah
ruaok
arriving at the same time will be interesting.
nikki prods ruaok
it might be nice if someone could take my luggage to the flat while I pick up the keys from the rental office.
reosarevok
Yeah, we get to play "which flight gets delayed" :p
ruaok
nikki: oh, that was directed me?
<== DUH
nikki
at anyone really, but you seem the best person to answer that :P
ruaok
yes, collecting flight numbers and flight arrival times would be optimal.
nikki
k
nikki prods ruaok, reosarevok and uk to add that info to the page :P
ruaok
done
nikki
wow...
I went to see how much lufthansa is
ruaok

there and back it says €189, there alone is €750
I could go there and back several times for that price...
ruaok
I dont understand when things are cheap one way and when expensive.
I've been buying more one way tickets as of late. ian's ticket to cali is two one way tickets.
and they are cheap.
but then silly shit like that quote you got flummoxes me.
reosarevok
Yeah
Lufthansa one way is nuts
(from what I've checked at least)
Combining two one-ways is not, though, that is back to normal price
command line for import: carton exec -- ./admin/InitDb.pl -- --createdb --import /mnt/Tranfer/mbdump*.tar.bz2 --echo
ruaok
that *should* work.
I am going to try the same thing right now.
bretzlaff
does it matter that i had to do this line 4 times to get all the dependencies installed: carton install --deployment?
ruaok
it shouldn't.
it doesn't sound like you have a perl package problem

i believe it worked with the previous dump, I had other issues then that prevented the server from starting and I hosed the os install so I started over
ruaok
bretzlaff: sorry, but I have no idea what might be wrong. like I said,I am going to start an import in a second.
that should fail in the same way if the dumps are bad.
bretzlaff
ok, how long does that take on your machine :)
ruaok
I'm importing *everything*. edits and private data. could be 2 hours.
bretzlaff
mine takes about 1.5 hours from the import start
not including edit
thanks for the help, i may pull down the previous dump and try it as well
