So I've been busy with learning some theory about coding and stuff

I worked on a few tickets, sent a tiny PR because someone wrote to support like "hey you have a word twice here", and fixed a lot of mediocre data

Plus the usual support (no new customer emails this week, sadface)

ruaok: it's trade school - "junior web developer"

It's actually kinda nice so far, even if mostly stuff I know in practice

But we'll see how it, er, develops

Both of these were created from scratch over the weekend.

messybrainz is to support listenbrainz.

yeah, I'm not really looking for a new job unfortunately and if I could find a good sysadmin I'd make sure my company hired him :p

it is a repository for scrobbles, nee listens that do not have MBids.

On the plus side, I got roaming going for my last hour in london

it doesn't work as well as scrobble, but finding a good replacement is hard.

ListenBrainz is basically AudioScrobbler.

you can go to ListenBrainz and then import you scrobble history from last.fm into listenbrainz.

Does it work with the scrobbling protocol?

it still has some bugs and is not ready for general consumption yet.

Well, even if they're only used temporarily, it might be nice to be able to look at the logs one day again.

one thing that is sure, we don't want too many channels. then most of them will be dead.

(Not to mention having them available publically.)

how about we look at that in detail at the summit? :)

anyways, that was my weekend. I'm exhausted, but very happy that we finally made this happen.

(I'm not saying to make new permanent channel, but it would be nice to log temporary channels too.)

and the teamwork between the people was really really amazing.
