pip doesn't suck. I'm not saying easy_install does either, easy_install is just old and broke stuff when I tried to use it a long time ago.

but according to the mentioned document more is needed, but it is unclear to me how to do this on ubuntu 10.04. and I assume dave has done this quite a few times by now.
