I never update those pages because even if I can overcome the "why are you duplicating data? this is a waste of your time!" feeling and the "wtf are classes anyway?" feeling, those templates are horrible
Really, wiki syntax should be *simpler* than perl, right? how can it be that I understand complex MB code better than I do our templates? (as in, badly, as opposed to not at all)

reosarevok: I am not willing.
reosarevok
warp: afraid that'll be the general reaction, yes
(an understandable one, too)
nikki
warp: can you please do something to stop all these undeliverable emails when I comment on code review?
whether that's changing your email stuff to stop bouncing them, contacting pronik and getting him to fix it or moving code review so we host it ourselves I don't much care.
wtf
does the webservice really not allow me to fetch my own tags?
I'm trying to fetch the entities I tagged with a certain thing, but I can't see any way of doing that

ocharles
I don't think you can do that
reosarevok
huh
I always thought we were supposed to allow people to do it?
(if "that" is fetching their own tags)
ocharles
nikki wants to browse entities by her tags, i think
nikki: can you forward a bounce message? I'm wondering on what grounds the mail is refused.
I thought I had SPF and such configured for frob.nl, which would cause this, but I don't.

ollie: Creating entities is now an edit
ocharles
warp: there you go :)
luks
was switching from review board to github ever discussed?
warp
yay!
luks: discussed, yes
ocharles
luks: yea, briefly
i believe there were problems regarding getting emails sent out properly
(broadcasting to all reviewers)
luks
ah, I remember now. github now allows anybody to subscribe to pull requests, so that's not a problem anymore
ocharles
i think people still want that by default though
luks
might be a better solution than migrating cr
warp
I also think the prevailing attitude was -- one step at a time, make github our main repository and only then start evaluating if reviewing code github would be suitable.
ocharles
that too. i hope to finish that migration this month
nikki wonders if github lets her select which email to send email to yet
you can have multiple email addresses, but i think you elect one as primary
nikki
which is stupid :/
ocharles
i don't think it's stupid, it's quite normal
nikki
they say on their sign up form that they don't expose your email address, so I was rather pissed off when I clicked on "merge" and it made a commit with that email address
warp
nikki: "Set as default" ?
nikki
no idea
I can't remember my password
warp
you can also select which of your email addresses to use for notifications seperately from which one is marked as default.
obviously I don't use any of that, so I don't know if that works as intended.
