as it stands now we have something in beta testing, but that isn't reflected in jira

Going against the flow Ive gone back from Chrome to Firefox , coz fed up with having to hunt for extensions all the time

So its stores them on mozilla servers, you can use outside of your network, thats quite neat

it stores it encrypted on the mozilla servers, such that someone at mozilla cannot read your data

only downside is that to sync two computers together, you need to be able to access them both at the same time to pair them.

firefox has weird connection issues here (I still use it as my main browser, but it is getting annoying).

I want to use Epiphany more, but I'm spoiled by the firefox password/history/etc. syncing and they keep breaking extensions (plan to remove them altogether, I think)

JonnyJD: the isrc branch of libdiscid doesn't take several minutes or fail to detect half of the isrcs for me...

do you have any tool or build that uses it?

I only use libdiscid from python-musicbrainz2 and have a mac build of libdiscid that is probably without isrcs

hmm. I was using an adapted version of the linux/perl script on http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/ISRC

(basically just changed to use the output of one of the libdiscid example programs instead of whatever program the linux version uses)

the perl binding of libdiscid includes the isrc api?

the perl script just parses the output of a command line program

That is also what my python script does, but libdiscid is no command line program in itself.

I normally don't use Macs so I don't have a compile environment. I can try to include it as a backend if you upload an executable somewhere or you publish your combination somewhere.

Currently my isrcsubmit.py is the only ISRC script advertising it works for Mac and it has an awful performance with drutil.
