another thought it since spotify apps are nothing but HTML and CSS with JS, we can mock a lot of stuff up on a normal webserver.

jaro-winkler is much better for record matching

pylevenshtein includes several algorithms

the library's poorly named :)

it may include that one, I haven't looked at it in a couple years
