ok, I'm stupid.

can someone please help me google somthing?

we have a dell SC1435 server that has an amber light flashing on the front panel. specifically is led #5 is blinking.

WTF does it mean?

Do the 1,2,3,4 lights have an error code?

To access the hardware log, click System, click the Logs tab, and click Hardware.

that is assuming you're willing to take the machine out of production and run their shitty diagnostics.

why does have to be so freaking difficult?

Can you access the logs without taking it out of production?

unless I can get something that runs on ubuntu, no.

but that shouldn't be the point.

Well from what I've read, the amber light means there should be something listed in the ESM log.

I guess then we need to find a way to read the ESM log under ubuntu

What is the alternative? What "should" you be using?

looks like there are only 4 lights.

what looks like the 5th is just a generic "TROUBLE" light.

aCiD2: would it be possible to not remove the tracks/mediums from the page when dragging them? the more I play about with it the less I like it doing that :/

because I can't think of anything else where dragging something removes it from where it was originally while you're dragging it

and what does "drag and drop isn't setting anything" mean?

that would also get rid of this bug I found where clicking on the last track/medium makes it disappear :P

I can't get it to work at all though. The medium reordering was working for me but then I think Cycles` released another updated and it stopped working for me.

When it was working I noticed that if there was only one tracklist, clicking the medium number hid the whole tracklist. Poof!

That must have been the update that stopped the medium reordering working.

btw, can you think of a way to integrate a non-drag-and-drop way of moving things? I'm guessing it would ask for a position number and move it there, but I can't think of a way to put this "move to position ..." thingy in the page that makes sense

I like it more how it is :/ there's too little space there as it is

I would prefer a point(/drag) and click option, not one that involces typing a position number.

Would medium reordering be easier if, when you started to drag, the various mediums shrunk to one line? Or perhaps have a toggle so that the tracklists aren't constantly showing/hiding if you're doing more than one move.

Does "Minimize the height changing when clicking on a medium title" make sense?

I do think there should be *some* way of doing it without drag and drop though, I find drag and drop hard enough with a trackpad as it is

"minimise the height changing" doesn't make much sense to me

Drag and drop is a pretty integral part of any GUI OS I think, it may be hard for a trackpad user, but it's not something new.

when do you use it?

have to use it in picard, and it's the easiest way to install a network printer in windows. that's about it I think.

basically a list of URL IDs, linked via the Amazon AR to a release with multiple release events

it would be easy to do it in SQL though

but... I don't think I have up-to-date database here anyway

so I either need to download weeks of replication packets or reimport the db :(
