      • 2004-06-10 16221, 2004

does it work with unmatched tracks yet?
      • 2004-06-10 16241, 2004

      • ruaok
        er, what are you asking?
      • 2004-06-10 16256, 2004

      • ruaok
you can drag unmatched tracks to albums in order to 'tag' them.
      • 2004-06-10 16257, 2004

      • HairMetalAddict
So what's the equivalent of that "tag" graphic that appears in the Win version? Or is that not done yet.

You open album in the tagger and then drag files onto the album.

        do this:
      • 2004-06-10 16228, 2004

      • ruaok
drag a collection of track that make up an album (or a dir that contains tracks for an album) on top of an album.
      • 2004-06-10 16237, 2004

      • ruaok
and watch it try to match the files to the album.
      • 2004-06-10 16209, 2004

      • HairMetalAddict
Hmmm... dropping the directory on the stuff pulled via "open in tagger" caused the GUI to lock up.
      • 2004-06-10 16214, 2004

Except for the "Lookup" \ issue, and the GUI freeze on dragging a dir... dragged individual tracks for a full album of MP3s one at a time, and they saved fine. Tested them in the Win tagger and it recognized the tags.
      • 2004-06-10 16235, 2004

Er, yeah, and the preferences don't work, but I figured you knew that already. ;-)

Panic = Send TRMs to the server? (Eventually)
      • 2004-06-10 16232, 2004

      • ruaok
        Quite likely.
      • 2004-06-10 16245, 2004

      • ruaok
But TRM generation is faily low on the list right now.

I want to make it a useful tagger even without TRM.

      • 2004-06-10 16257, 2004

      • HairMetalAddict
Fingers are getting sore from crossing them so much hoping the current tagger will stay stable long enough in WINE to get my tagging done. ;-)
      • 2004-06-10 16203, 2004

      • ruaok
Mainly I need feedback to see if this approach works before I spend time nailing the details.
      • 2004-06-10 16211, 2004

      • ruaok
        lol
      • 2004-06-10 16231, 2004

      • HairMetalAddict
But I've gotten over 8,000 MP3s tagged using it. :-D
      • 2004-06-10 16244, 2004

      • HairMetalAddict
The basic "approach" seems okay. Is this supposed to eventually replace the current tagger on Win, or is that one going to continue to be developed?
      • 2004-06-10 16254, 2004

      • ruaok
