it's quite warm in our flat today and I was just trying out the new yahoo music engine. therefore burning a few cpu cycles

man, Mr. Bungle are good. And weird.
      • 2005-05-13 13328, 2005

      • inhouseuk
the yahoo music engine is quite nice. encodes to mp3, aac, ogg and flac. But it is slow and uses that metadata company based in Emeryville, CA

hah! Even though the Yahoo music engine puts the metadata in aac files it encode, iTunes doesn't recognise them. Probably because the audio is the 3rd stream in the mp4 wrapper
      • 2005-05-13 13351, 2005

      • inhouseuk
they play okay, but no metadata! Winamp with the FAAD plugin handles them fine though
