Unfortunately, while using English versions of Microsoft's lame attempts at operating systems, I have grown used to both Alt keys being the same

AltGr = Alt + Ctrl on Shitdows

It's a bit of a PITA when I go to use Debian and the Right-Alt key doesn't behave the way my brain thinks it should :(

Heh. We put that up as a cheat-code for Windows Solitare in the school computer lab about then too ;-)

IIRC, the cheat code for Lemmings (yes, we had Lemmings installed on the school computers) was Ctrl-Alt-Delete

We set up a new username and put Counterstrike on it, so we coul dhave LAN games during lunch

Then they "upgraded" to XP T_T

We played deathmatch DoomII and Descent. I would get sick of being blasted to pieces, though

Best game was "how to get aruond the internet filter and look at porn just to show that we can"

That game never got old, because everytime we'd get caught, we'd start a new game of it : P

I didn't have the ability to practise at home. For some reason, Doom and Descent wouldn't run on a '286 :(

I / we would spend most of our lunchtimes staring at a blue Turbo Pascal IDE, though ;-)

When the school clamped down on "computer abuse" at lunch times we spent the hour moping about corridors or being a general pain the arse to any staff heh

I think I went and installed every single font that comes with Windows '95 on it, too. Took about 5-10 minutes just to boot Windows into Program Manager, then about the same time again to load WinWord

im pretty sure i got the same DLL error with the last version when i tried to install it shortly after my previous two reformats

and possibly the version before 5.0

What is the exact filesize of the installer you used? The one I have (which isn't working) is picard-setup-0.6.0.exe (4,865,461 bytes)

That'll be the date the file was created on your computer, so the date you downloaded it.

Mine was created (downloaded) 15 Feb, so they must be identical

well you can talk to luks but he plainly told me that he knew of no way to fix this, and from the way it sounded i dont think he thought there even was a way to fix it
