the alternative times should probably be accepted as valid bootlegs, but if they are, where do you draw the line between whats an acceptable bootleg and millions of homebrew comps

ya, I wouldn't say they are rare... they are the most popular that survive

whenever I download a bootleg. I always consider its value for entering into MB. The number consideration is are these tracks widely available on official releases, if yes, it dont get entered

see, those types of releases I just think are ones that won't still exist

but like several releases in the db now, you'll never see a physical copy because they are owned privately or maybe only 100 copies were made

problem was that noone ever thought to put the cddb database into the creative commons, then the company went IPO

PD is scary, not every country has that concept. in those countries it ends up being not distributable at all.
