By the way, is it just EAC, or why does the MusicBrainz freedb interface show UTF-8 characters wrong?

cddb didn't support utf-8... didn't freedb inherit that limitation?
2007-05-10 13017, 2007

Or, to put it another way, apparently EAC doesn't interpret the UTF-8 correctly.

Hmm, so EAC should be patched to allow forcing the character set, or something else.

srotta: the mb freedb gateway always returns data in utf-8 which is protocol version 6, I believe EAC only supports version 5 and doesn't know how to use the utf-8

Does anyone know whether it is possible to make footnotes with MoinMoin?
aCiD2: Well, either way: Have you had a look at the arrow(s) used in the menu at http://metabrainz.org/? You might want to use that for the "Find a Mirror" (or propose using the arrow you're using for the "Find a Mirror" for the MetaBrainz site), for just that tiny, tiny bit of further branding.
