Senilix: cool would be some feature to submit them automatically for files that have a mb track id. As there's nothing like it I fear it will take a little time

can anyone give me a hand getting fingerprinting working with picard, I have ffmpeg and libofa installed but its still telling me "No decoders found! Fingerprinting will be disabled."

i have a direcory with all my mb-tagged music. in a few hours, all of it will have puids. then i just need some kind of script :)

Senilix: it takes 24 hours for newly analyzed files to be able to be looked up, I think

some of my CDs do not appear to be listed properly in either freedb or musicbrainz. Any ideas where I can look for a track list to manually tag them?

MusicBrainz is user-edited data. If it's not listed, you can add it yourself.

why not add it to musicbrainz?

so I have a release from henry rollins that's titled Get some Go Again Session, but the artists is labeled as Henry Rollins & Mother Superior, its a release of material recorded in the studio from the Get some go again album, which on MB is credited only to rollins band

should I create a new artist or force this into rollins band

the main problem is probably because this is a japanese CD...

there are japanese entries, but none in English, you see.

ryuo: retailers, amazon, cdjapan, hmv.co.jp, etc..

those give me a track list, but... not the artist(s) responsible for each individual track

ryuo: well, you can add it in japanese, but i guess you want translated or transliterated track titles

i would prefer it in a language i can read =p

my older japanese OSTs are in already
