I usually find plenty of edits to add while I'm voting. Adding artist homepage/MySpace/Wikipedia/IMDb/Discogs links, etc.

oookay, this was highly unusual. i hacked a bit on the lucene indexing code in an attempt to speed things up a bit, although, i expected about max 10% increase in speed, not over 60% :o

Many of the current edit functions are quite different from how they started. Best idea is probably to do what seems to be the simplest (for the editor) method, adjust it after it's been tried out. Hard to say what would be best at this point, I'd think.

indexed the track index in 277:21, original code has been indexing for 566:44 minutes and still got about 40-50 minutes left

luks: in this case it is, with my changes gaps are ignored. anyways, i suspect it's so slow because this method is using more memory than my method, enough to case loads of swapping
