It doesn't mean everything should be set in stone in perpetuity, but I'm pretty annoyed with the anything goes mentality of some people.

english spelling is rather prescriptive anyway, we could write phonetically but then we'd lose the distinction between homonyms and etymological stuff, nobody just acquires the ability to spell, but just by exposing kids to language they'll acquire all the grammar rules of that particular dialect

I don't actually get the argument about grammar / spelling anyway. Yeah, there's a difference between spoken and written language, true, but the system works the same way.

"Exposing" kids by speaking to them will introduce them to spoken language, exposing them by teaching them to read will result in them learning about written word.

but i'd definitely agree with part 1) if 2) were true :)

right now it's just another meaningless "classical" release title, which seems to be perfectly ok with everybody since "the styleguide says so"

symphonick: common-sense-wise, the change makes the title better than the previous, and with both composers it's even better

there is no common sense in the CSG starting with its very basics: composers as artists ...
