running picard from trunk I get this: W: 3086481088 16:38:37 No decoders found! Fingerprinting will be disabled.Could this be the cause of the very slow performance on lookups?

that only means you can't do puid lookups, regular lookups should function as normal

are there any difference in speed on puid lookups vs regular ones?

foolish: you should run "./setup.py config" and "./setup.py build_ext -i" before you run picard directly from the source

and PUID lookups are slower because picard needs to calculate the fingerprint, make a request to the musicdns server to get an PUID and finally make the request to MB.org itself

well. the board is happy that we're in the black.

happy that we're getting our plans wrt RG and NGS on track.

most of the time board meetings are just me giving an overall status update.

but they get to hear the nitty gritty things from the business side that are not really safe to mention in public.

overall, I'm happy with how the board is working right now. helping me work through some issues. Cory always has dynamite feedback.
