hopphopp: lookup manually, that will open the page I told you about

hopphopp: anyway, if you want the association to appear instantly (and not after few days) you should get an account before you add the disc id

i have an account

hopphopp: perfect, then you can attach DiscIDs to releases (if they already exist in the DB) and you can add info about releases not present in the database

hopphopp
yes, now i remeber i have done this before for maybe 10-20 albums but i always forget the the procedure

slightly counter-intuitive imho...

Well, that's create artist, edit artist and create label done and working
2009-06-28 17936, 2009
aCiD2
just remove artist, remove label, edit label, edit release group and remove release group to go! (and then finish off the merge stuff)

luks: why do we even have Edit::Artist::Delete, come to think about it?
2009-06-28 17933, 2009
aCiD2
The only time you can do that is if the artist is empty, but in that case mod bot will delete it anyway
2009-06-28 17956, 2009
inhouseuk sometimes removes an empty artist before modbot - to stop releases being added to it accidently
2009-06-28 17934, 2009

it saves having to submit a merge artist
2009-06-28 17954, 2009
inhouseuk is getting tired of merging release-groups for multi-disc sets

I was going to add cdstubs support to the freedb gateway, but the cdtoc_raw table doesn't contain a freedbid row and the raw database isn't replicated :(

I can get around the missing column, but re-importing the data on a regular basis is very clean

hmm... didn't someone say something about merging the raw database into the main database for ngs?
2009-06-28 17951, 2009

I don't know - but it would be nice to have it replicated

apart from the freedb gateway, I could run reports over the cdstubs to see what ones are worth importing.
