ok i can get the data from lastfm containing the info i want with plugin, can someone help me parse the correct info out of the data, am goin in circles here

Can i still use the previous revisions of the INSTALL file to setup a mb server with apache like before or has other stuff changed?

i have finally built the pylucene indexes for mbz

it was pretty tuff actually

i'm a lucene nb, but would it make sense to distribute these indexes along w/ the db dumps?

anybody out there?

i've built the artist index using the lucene_index code

but release and track indexes come up empty

any ideas?

i tried the query in realseindex.py and it comes up empty

question about tags.. I have the plugin embedding cover images in the tags which is working great.. and my mp3 player is displaying them fine..

should they be getting tagged with artist/album info as well? Because it seems as only the file name is being changed. The mp3 player fails to find artist/album info, only displaying the track name.

Gun_Smoke: if you check the option to save tags, it should save the artist and album tags

what about ID3v1 or v2?

should I also be clearing existing tags first?

it overwrites tags it knows about. Your choice if you want other tags removed

imo you shouldn't write id3v1 if you don't need it due to some ageold device or something

alright.. I'll try a hand full with the newer one. Maybe that has something to do with it.

nonsonoinmatrix: make sure you use the latest version of Protege (4)

nonsonoinmatrix: there was a bug in Protege 3 that made MO crash it

when I try to import the RDFS appear this error:

the system couldn't locate the ontology

try saving it locally and importing it?

if I ignore it doen't import anything

select the 'open ontology from uri'

and use 'http://purl.org/ontology/mo/

it works here

you need to run the PopulateMetaTables.sql script first

otherwise tracks and releases will be empty
