people approving the edit will still trigger the whole conflicting edits problem

It comes around once every 24 hours to clean up entities with no relationships, yes?

or anything with edits linked to it (which Tom Picerking Trio would have)

Oh, I see...odd, because I've made edits in the past (pre-NGS) and the artists were still deleted...

hi there. I have a question regarding coverart for releases/media/release_groups. Where can I find the cover artworks for those. Thanks in advance.

I mean which postgre-table should I be looking for?
2011-07-12 19351, 2011

zahariev: we don't have rights to give out those links in our dumps

zahariev: as far as I know, the artwork is not in the database, but is all external

if you want them yourself, you need to get amazon keys, and run admin/RebuildCoverArt

zahariev
wow, that was quick
2011-07-12 19313, 2011

then they will be in release_coverart

well, presumably the archive.org cover art links and other permitted direct links would be in the database, wouldn't they?

kepstin-laptop: yea, but release_coverart makes it much easier to work with

and the bulk of our cover art come from amazon

Hmm. Does "Distributed and released by" mean "this is the label"?

Leftmost: I'm under the impression that they would be the "publisher" (which you can denote by creating a release-label relationship), unless it's the only label on the release, in which case chances are it's the label also.

jacobbrett:I have several cases where the distributor gives a cat# to the cd and all that and certainly works as a standard label

reosarevok: Of course, it's case-by-case...

The "label" in question is a retailer, but the case has no other label information, and the website also lists only this retailer.
Bah. "Give the Gift of Music". How can I give the gift of music when you put a stupid sticker that tells me to give the gift of music over the barcode? :P

Leftmost: Based on the iTunes opinion on mb-style, a retailer is never a label.

So how do I deal with this release, which appears to be the retailer from the get-go?
