depends on how you intend to use the database.

if you're going to point picard at it, it will not work.

if you want to query the DB directly, it will work.

I can kind of understand it for the transgender ones: Not “male” because some people consider them female, not “female” because they consider themselves male. (or vice-versa of course, but just for argument’s sake)

I doubt people are going much out of their way to read the docs

and even if they go a bit out, it’s not obvious so I can understand making that mistake
