hmm. if a new, general, 'has an online video channel at' (tentative wording) relationship is added, would it replace the youtube relationship, or become the parent of the youtube relationship?

The display of the microblog relationship on the site looks like it can still detect the twitter urls and use specific link styles for them even with the generic AR, so it would probably be best to merge them together somehow.

i know this isnt mb related at all but does anyone know if wmp stores ratings in its own database or in the id3 tags for files

musicbrainz picard? If you right-click on a file while it's in the left and click details, it should show the existing metadata in the file.

I'm not sure if it'll show ratings, tho...

What's this Picard error about? on some files, there's a red icon after i try to save. status bar says Permission denied: u'C:\\path\\folder.jpg'

user`: by default when moving files, picard tries to keep the cover art pictures with them. But for some reason, the permissions on your folder.jpg image in that directory won't allow picard to move the file.

i have 'move additional files' unchecked

because it looks like that file is hidden and protected as a system file... why would a folder.jpg be a system file o.O

the Folder.jpg images are usually kept hidden, because windows explorer uses them in place of the folder icon if a folder contains one

hidden is good, but system? what idiot at microsoft decided on that

pretty sure a folder.jpg is not an essential file where it being deleted can really mess things up

It's probably easier to create the new recordings when creating the release entry, rather than fixing it after the release was added this way

it's useful in the case of single-artist credits when you have two artists with the same name...

well, since the comments are used for disambiguation, they presumably won't be needed in most cases when a multiple-artist artist credit is used

in the unlikely case of two temporary collaborations between artists of the same name...
