aw man, I hate it when japanese artists distribute tracks in zip files with SHIFT_JIS filenames. I don't know how to make my unzip program decode the filenames correctly :/

aha, it turns out that there is a way.

my unzip tool happens to be compiled with an add-on patch which adds a -O option to specify the charset of the zip file

unzip -O SHIFT_JIS fixes it :)

huh, awesome. Unlike the published full version of the song, these karaoke versions are pre-mastering, and don't have their dynamic range compressed.

(which makes sense, given that the intent of the karaoke release is so that people would record cover vocals to it, mix+master their new version, then post it on nicovideo.jp)

huh, this one zip file of karaoke versions of this song includes alternate karaoke versions with the key shifted -/+2 semitones.

But I have so much work now I can’t do huge things… if you double or tripple click in the alert box, can’t you seledct everything like in Opera ?

dubwai: the space before the "!" looks like a design decision, not an "artist intent" decision. I would use choice #2

jabobbrett is right, it's a carry-over from French. But we /do/ correct punctuation when doing so doesn't conflict with "artist intent". I still vote for correct English punctuation, but I don't feel strongly about it. :)

I need some guidance

There's a group named "Sans Pression" (with rappers: SP and Ti-Kid), Ti-Kid left and now SP performs under the name of Sans Pression (he released two albums under that name) but it's really just him. should I move the last two albums to the SP page (performed as Sans Pression) or leave it to the Sans Pression (group) page ?

I would leave it as Sans pression… maybe the band will include someone else next time… is the name SP mentionned on these two releases ?

SP is nowadays credited as SP or as Sans Pression when he features on other artist albums

I don't have the physical medium so I can't tell from the booklet

it would make sense to leave all 3 albums on the same page though
