Looks like Prince of Persia was a Brøderbund game as well.

Mechner recently published his journals as a book (which I've read), it's interesting to read about how those games were developed back then.

I have a question regarding Recording->Work that I hope someone can answer

I am entering recording info for a band that has released a cover of Beyoncés "Irreplaceable" (http://musicbrainz.org/recording/a91401fb-77d7-...)

However, the Beyoncé recording does not have a Work associated with it

Furthermore, I'm guessing that there are quite a few cover versions of the original recording so I find it a bit odd that the work does not exist. Am I missing something here or should I just go ahead and create the work?

Hello everyone, I'm experimenting with libmusicbrainz C API. Here's the code http://pastebin.com/2NEsMjJU What I want to do is, want to get the releases for Artist Westlife. What I did is 1. Searched the query with Artist Westlife. 2. Then retrieved Artist's MusicBrainz ID. 3. Again searched with query, with Artist's ID and inc=releases. 4. But I got nothing :( Moreover, I've tried changing the User Agent String to "anonymous" or "myapplicatio

n" but nothing worked. I also inserted sleep(5) before the query in Step 3. But still nothing. Please Help me!!

Leftmost: never mind - I figured it out myself… The work is in place, hopefully everything is correct (I think it is, at least according to the almighty Wikipedia).

Looks good to me. It'd be nice to have more specific rels (composer and lyricist instead of writer) but you have to go with what information you have.

All of the parts of Ni barnestykker, EG 103 seem to be repeated in 23 småstykker, EG 104. Wondering whether to alias or mark EG 104 as later versions.

Trying to clean up his works and get the full catalog in there.

Also not sure how to deal with EG 101, since it appears to have been attributed to him in the past (including by his cataloguer), though a few sites mention it as probably being by a family member.
