      • 2013-11-08 31213, 2013

      • CallerNo6
leonardo: IMO you should never source the "label" from amazon
      • 2013-11-08 31223, 2013

      • CallerNo6
If you don't have a scan of the back cover, or a /very/ reliable source like the web page for the label itself, it's probably better to leave the label field blank.
      • 2013-11-08 31206, 2013

      • leonardo
        uh ok.
      • 2013-11-08 31223, 2013

      • reosarevok
leonardo: Amazon is usually a bad source of labels, indeed - you never know if what is claimed as "label" is a label, a distributor, or something else entirely. I'm not sure myself if no info really beats that though :)
      • 2013-11-08 31208, 2013

      • reosarevok
What we do have which you can certainly use is a release-to-label "copyright" relationship, by the way, if you want to use it (it's fairly new :) )
      • 2013-11-08 31212, 2013

      • reosarevok
But as to the main question, I sadly have no idea whether EMI International and EMI Recorded Music International Div. are the same thing. Majors' subsidiary names are often dumb and confusing :/
      • 2013-11-08 31236, 2013

      • leonardo
yeah, i noticed by doing the label research :(
      • 2013-11-08 31206, 2013

      • leonardo
btw, i searched for the same release on itunes, beatport and mta records and probably MTA is the only safest record label i can insert
      • 2013-11-08 31246, 2013

      • reosarevok
Possibly. Beatport usually has a catno field
      • 2013-11-08 31255, 2013

      • reosarevok
And in this case catno being MTA025B suggests MTA, yes
      • 2013-11-08 31201, 2013

" A lot of music that was popular in the dancehalls was never officially released. If producers say that a song has been released in Jamaica, they often don't actually mean that it has been pressed. They just mean that it's being played. "

can someone explain what ~0.5 might do after the end of a query. I have seen this in some code and it give odd results, sometime more correct with and sometime less.

the number doesn't seem to affect it.. just haveing a tilde at the end seems to give the same results.
