is there a way to deal with a recording that already exists in the MB databse under a different name? I don;t eally want to readd the track as a seperate entry nor does renaming the track already there seem the right solution.

So I have the second standalone with the slightly different naming scheme

So I want to add "Sanxion (Unsanxioned Soloing)" as a variant of the entry we already have

but can't see how to do it of is it's possible

I could add it as anew recording which doesn;t seem right, or change the current entry which doesn;t seem right either

I have the disc IDs for CD2 and CD3 which I manually added to http://musicbrainz.org/release/a7c3d2a9-5b99-43... but cannot work out how to add them

Welp. How bad is it if I just realized that I automatically added the check digit to the UPCs of several releases I added over the last couple days without even thinking about it?

Yeah, I figured adding the check digit was better.

hidgw: Seriously though, if you still have the releases handy with the barcodes, you can just go through them and fix them if they really don't have the check digits.

But if they really don't have it, well, we shouldn't either.

I'll do that, for the ones I still have. Might be harder to track down the ones I've already returned to the library, but I'll do what I can
